Saturday, March 25th
6:00pm - 10:00pm
University Club, California Memorial Stadium
The Otter Bash is one of Montclair Elementary School PTA's two largest fundraisers. The event includes a delicious array of appetizers, a no-host (cash) bar, silent and live auctions, music and games. Be sure to save the date and come mingle while raising funds for the PTA.
The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) provides Montclair Elementary students with the resources they need to deliver the best education in the OUSD. With limited and restrictive budgets in public education adversely effecting programs such as art, music, library services, and physical education, the PTA serves to bridge this resource gap. With your help, our PTA can continue to provide the resources needed to supplement and deliver the best curriculum and enrichment programming for our students. The PTA humbly asks for your continued support and participation in our 2017 Otter Bash.
Montclair Elementary is regarded as one of the best schools, public or private, in Oakland. The school has been recognized as a California Distinguished School since 2010 and 2014. Only 3% of all California schools receive this prestigious recognition. In addition, our school was recently recognized as a National Blue Ribbon 2015 Exemplary High Performing school. This is an honor bestowed on only 224 elementary schools this year in the entire nation. With consistently high test scores, and a well-rounded program that fosters both social and academic growth while providing a fun, diverse, and enriching environment for over 640 children, MES is one of the shining stars of the Oakland Unified School district.
